Tbaytel has built-in many exciting features to enhance the viewing experience and create extra value in all Digital TV packages.  These features are available to all customers:

Instant Channel Change

Instant channel change allows you to change channels in the blink of an eye.

• There are no lengthy pauses or delays for the picture to reload every time you change the channel
• This feature is a key differentiator over other providers

 

Interactive Program Guide

The Interactive Program Guide provides you with your primary, on-screen interface and presents a display of:

• Upcoming television programming
• Descriptive information
• Associated broadcast schedules

The Interactive Program Guide allows you to browse and search available programming by Time, Channel, Program and Genre.

Key Interactive Program Guide features include:

• Intuitive user interface with robust search capabilities
• A minimum of 7 days program schedule availability
• Picture-in-picture functionality
• Integration with PVR functionality
• Integration with VOD menus
• Integration with Parental Controls
• Support for user personalization (e.g. favourite channels, programs, actors, etc.)

Multiview

Multiview allows you to watch up to six different screens at one time on your television, it is the ultimate picture-in-picture (PIP) experience.

• You can watch up to six  programs that are grouped together by  genre: Sports, News and Kids
• You can then choose which program to watch in the main viewing area and swap between the other programs in the Multiview

Live Dashboard

The Live Dashboard enhances the viewing experience by adding a live overlay/feed to the TV screen.  The Live Dashboard incorporates the following features that can be used while watching regular programming:  Hit “Go Interactive” on the Remote Control

• Live Feeds – get updates on the latest news, horoscopes and weather
• Games – choose from various game packs and play while you watch TV
• Interactive Features – link to VOD, SilverCity listings, etc

Parental Controls

Parental controls provide functionality allowing parents to specify what type of programming their children access and watch based on television and movie content ratings.  Parental controls can be applied to linear television programming and VOD. 

• Ability to specify parental controls for linear television programming
• Ability to specify parental controls for VOD content

Online TV Guide

Tbaytel does not offer a printed TV Guide, instead an Online TV Guide is available. The Online TV Guide stores up to 2 weeks of programming information and allows you to search for programming by Channel, Date & Time.
