Position Summary

Under the direct supervision of the Manager - Direct to Consumer, the Direct to Consumer Representative performs duties relative to direct marketing and sales activities to reach residential and business target markets across the Tbaytel serving area.

Major Responsibilities

  1. Participate in the creation and implementation of multi-year marketing and sales plans.
  2. Develop direct marketing and sales project plans to establish direct contact with customers.
  3. Execute direct marketing and sales initiatives and project plans; including but not limited to targeted promotional marketing campaigns and strategies, community outreach and events, in-home or in-business peer-to-peer interactions, interactive social media marketing, direct mail strategies, outbound calling.
  4. Qualify sale opportunities related to specific sales initiatives and provide leads to Enterprise Sales or Customer Service.
  5. Provide support services where necessary for Tbaytel’s Sales Channel – Authorized Dealers and Retail Store.
  6. Leverage marketing intelligence insights and industry trends to develop new direct marketing strategies.
  7. Provide support services for the development, implementation, and administration of staff sales incentive programs.
  8. Prepare reports related to programs designed to measure customer expectations and satisfaction related to Tbaytel and its individual products lines.
  9. Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with all applicable health and safety legislation.
  10. Perform other related duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education/Experience

  • Degree or diploma in business or marketing
  • Knowledge of Tbaytel products and services is a definite asset
  • Previous Marketing, advertising and direct sales experience is an asset
  • Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on the MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of the Marketing Mix and available media tools in this market
  • Must posses excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be capable of issuing clearly understandable written and oral instructions
  • Possess the ability to communicate with the public and all company stakeholders with the highest standards of business etiquette and integrity

Condition of Employment

Must possess a valid driver’s licence. Use of a personal vehicle may be required. Out of town travel is required. Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.
